Instructor Notes:

Introduction

This STEM From Dance instructor choreographed a piece to "Push2Start" by Tyla, featuring a wings prop which is attached to buttons. Her goal was to embrace a graceful, airy style that matched the feel of the wings. The physical structure of the prop, and the placement of both button sensors left a creative constraint that affected the dance movement. For example, to maintain the sparkle light effect, the instructor kept one hand on the sensor while using the other to move freely, which led to dynamic and expressive movement.
